The Abyss, one of my favorite movies, features a futuristic underwater platform with several equipments of underwater exploration (the making of Abyss documentary is also amazing, with the endless hours of underwater filming inside the deactivated nuclear reactor). The idea of living underwater, like living in space, is one of those sci-fi experiences that many of us dream of doing one day. But unlike going to a space station, the experience of living underwater is technically much easier.

This underwater park in Florida offers an underwater hotel. What can be seen from the pictures looks simple: a small container with round windows (round is more sci-fi). This habitat used to be a research lab on underwater living and is now open for recreational divers.

The wet zone with the entrance pool looks great.

Since this is just 6.5m beneath the surface, diving here can last forever. One or more nights are ok.
